This evening was supposed to run longer.
About 30m after I got into the bottom of the bumper, branches the size of a fist came flying my way. For Florida, no surprise. A small storm, a Friday evening. Felix was hanging around with his Cedric. Kev had planned to swap the brakes on Beetle, but none of it happened.
So all that's left for us today is to look out the window at the started underside of the 996 front bumper. It is coming along well, but tomorrow there is plenty of work.
While I was at it, it was good to look at the top of the bumper. Go back to an earlier episode: there it was a horror, a horror, a horror. And now it is a pleasure to look at. Closer to the finish, and you would no longer say it had ever been through any trouble at all.
