Hello

About ten years ago I bought a 2007 Tahoe from Copart. What could go wrong. The truck arrived on a flatbed, the driver dropped the strap, and the side of the engine ejected itself like a CD. Neighbors safe. Pride not so much.

🔥❤️😮💪🏆

That truck was supposed to haul my whole family from Connecticut to Florida. No backup plan. So I tore the engine down, rebuilt it in two weeks, pointed the nose south, and prayed. My wife's tiny bug sat on the trailer behind us, judging the operation. The Tahoe pulled it. Then it pulled us all over Florida like a loyal dog that ate alternators for breakfast.

🔥❤️😮💪🏆

Life changed. Different cars came in. The Tahoe became a project. Stripped to bones. Suspension, interior, brakes, wheels. New leather. Hybrid front bumper and grille. Right color combo so it looked properly menacing. Zombies welcome.

Then real life hit. My neighbor got squeezed by code complaints and fees. He lost the house. Ended up with nowhere to sleep. I found out too late to stop it. So I donated him the Tahoe. At least he had a roof, even if it was a headliner. That was goodbye to my truck. I went quiet for a while.

Cut to 2025. I'm building things again. A November show on the calendar in Vegas. I needed a tow rig that wasn't a pickup. Something to wrap, brand, and hitch to an enclosed trailer that doubles as a rolling billboard.

Back to the wheel. Copart. Spin again.

🔥❤️😮💪🏆

I landed a 2016 Yukon Denali XL with the 6.2. Hit on the left cheek. Fender gone. Tire gone. Suspension somehow fine. Wheel straight. Bumper and headlight survived without a scratch, found chilling in the trunk. Lucky roll. No CELs. Engine quiet as a whisper, quieter than the 5.3 I used to run.

Plan is simple on paper. New fender. Inspect the inner structure. Walk the body, fix the dents. Triple check the suspension, then check again. Refresh the engine so I know the heartbeat. Design a subtle wide body because I can't help myself. Bi-color wrap, black roof and a punchy lower body. Chrome delete. Re-dye the interior black with BMW cinnamon accents. Functional hood intakes. Real air, not fake vents.

🔥❤️😮💪🏆

No timelines. Just the work.

This thread is the score sheet. Same way I used to keep one, ten years ago. Older now. Better tools. Same hands.

Hello again.
